| Following the successful design and construction of their first timber framed classroom at Gothic Mede Lower School, the Bedfordshire East Schools Trust have engaged hlp uk ltd to roll out the innovative solution at further schools within the Trust. The environmentally sensitive and cost effective alternative to ‘portakabin’ solutions for increasing school rolls has proved a huge success and has generated interest from other schools throughout the country. | hlp uk ltd have now clocked up their 200th project for Poundland. After completing their first new store project back in November 2007, hlp uk ltd have now carried out the survey, design, pre-contract and contract management on an average of 50 new Poundland stores per year. | ||||

| Following on from the winning the LABC Central Building Excellence Award for best Commercial Project, hlp uk ltd are pleased to announce that the recently completed Nursery and Community Building at Shefford, constructed on behalf of Bedfordshire East Schools Trust, has now been nominated for the LABC National awards. | Since being awarded the contract to carry out new store survey, design and project management services for Phones 4U, hlp uk ltd have been working closely with the mobile phone retailer to procure new stores in a more time efficient manner. To date it is estimated that hlp uk ltd have saved Phones 4U more than 100 store trading weeks. | ||||

| Following their successful cycle from John O Groats to Lands End, in aid of the Cleft Lip and Palate Association, Alan and Martin are pleased to advise that their final fundraising total came in at £6,150 more than doubling their target of £3000. Louise Walker from CLAPA expressed their delight at the efforts put in by the guys explaining that the amount raised was a significant contribution to the charity.
