It is a sandstone structure which has been adapted and extended over the centuries since. The building remains an active church as well as a tourist attraction and is overseen by its church council, a registered charity.
Three years ago we invested in specialist equipment to enable us to provide laser scanning solutions to new and existing clients. Using state of the art technology we were able to provide clients with highly accurate survey data to enable them to make commercial decisions and reveal more details on heritage buildings. It’s been a major growth area for our business.
This ambitious retailer had significant expansion plans and contacted us in autumn 2012 for project management support. They wanted to open a flagship store on Tottenham Court Road in London’s West End.
Traditionally this time of year is very busy in the retail property world, with clients and contractors pulling out all the stops to ensure stores are open to maximise the pre-Christmas trading period.

This large primary school in Sandwell wanted a new classroom to be used for cookery and science lessons, for pupils and for parent classes. The Head teacher initially contacted us in November 2012, and needed the classroom for the start of term in September 2013.
The in house Property Manager was looking for support for an expansion programme and subsequently involved us in all aspects of their property management. We have worked on many units at a pre-acquisition stage, including measured surveys, laser scanning and condition reports.
The Peak District National Park covers 1,438 square kilometres across parts of the counties of Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Staffordshire, and Cheshire. The National Park Authority owns a large quantity of public buildings and facilities, including tearooms, cafes, public toilets, car parks and cycle hire shops.
The client had recently constructed a number of new units on a light industrial park in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. They needed an overview of the condition of the roofs on all units.
